    Alphabet Avenue

    Alphabetical Order Umur 5–7

Learn the order of the alphabet and use it to put words in ABC order.

    • Umur 5–7
    • 3 misi
    • Permulaan → Semakin mahir → Cabaran

Knowing the order of the alphabet helps children find words in a dictionary, names in a list and books on a shelf. Once the letter order is secure, they can put whole words into alphabetical order.

Apa yang akan dipelajari anak anda

    • Say which letter comes before or after any letter
    • Find a missing letter in a run of the alphabet
    • Put words in alphabetical order by their first letter
    • Use the second letter when first letters match

    From letters to words

Alphabet Avenue starts with single letters — what comes after G? — then moves to words. To put words in order, look at the first letter. If two words start with the same letter, like “bag” and “bed”, look at the second letter instead.
