    Jumble Jungle

    Mix and Match Prasekolah

A mix of everything so far: letters, first sounds, rhymes, claps, middle sounds, word groups and first words.

    • Umur 4–5
    • 3 misi
    • Permulaan → Semakin mahir → Cabaran

Jumble Jungle shuffles together everything Early Years explorers have practised: finding letters, hearing first and middle sounds, rhyming, clapping syllables, sorting words and reading first words. Every question is read aloud.

Apa yang akan dipelajari anak anda

    • Find a letter and match pictures that start with the same sound
    • Pick the picture that rhymes and clap the beats in a word
    • Hear the vowel sound in the middle of a short word
    • Read a simple word and sort pictures into groups

    Listening first, reading next

Most of these games are about hearing the sounds in words, not about reading them. Children who can hear that cat and hat rhyme, or that sun starts like sock, find it far easier to learn what letters do.

    Mixed practice

Mixing the games means each question needs a fresh think: “Am I listening for the start, the middle or the end?” If one kind of question keeps catching your child out, its own world is the best place to practise.
