    • Ages 6–8
    • 3 quests
    • Beginner → Getting stronger → Challenge

Kata hubung are conjunctions, the joining words that turn short sentences into longer ones: dan (and), atau (or), tetapi (but), kerana (because), sambil (while doing) and lalu (and then).

    What your child will learn

    • Choose the conjunction that fits the meaning
    • Join two short sentences into one
    • Say what each conjunction shows: adding, choosing, contrast, reason, or order

    What each joiner does

Dan adds, atau gives a choice and tetapi shows a contrast: “kecil tetapi berani” (small but brave). Kerana gives a reason: “Ali tidak hadir kerana demam.”

Sambil joins two actions done at the same time by the same person; lalu and kemudian show what happened next.
